Pets of the Week from Lyons Veterinary Hospital

Every week we upload photos of some amazing pets who are looking for a great home. These pets have been checked and cared for by The Shelter. Lyons Veterinary Hospital is sponsoring this page to help find the perfect human partner.

Here are the HSWC pets of the week.

Nemo is a 8 week old neutered male brown tiger kitty. He came to the shelter as a stray. He is playful and likes to tell you about his day. He likes other cats and is learning about dogs while he stays with us. He is very cute and he has many friends also waiting to be adopted. Come by and visit all of them today If you are interested in meeting him please contact the shelter as he might be at one of our off-site adoption centers.

 

 

Jain is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female brown and white Boxer mix. She might chase cats and needs to meet any resident dog. She needs a home without small children. Her favorite treat are biscuits and she know how to sit and shake her paw. She is learning how to walk on a leash while she stays with us. She can be jumpy and would benefit from additional training. Stop by and visit her today. You never know when you might find a friend for life.

Darla

Darla is a 10 year old spayed female brown tiger kitty. She came to the shelter because her owner could no longer care for her. She is very friendly and likes people. She is learning about dogs while she stay with us. She likes to be picked up and enjoys being groomed. She still likes to play with toys and is looking for a home where she can spend her golden years living in sunny windows. If you are interested in meeting her please contact the shelter as she might be at one of our off-site adoption centers. Darla is available through our Adult Companion program to those who qualify

Max

Max is a 10 year old neutered red Min Pin. He must meet any resident dog and will probably chase cats. He knows how to walk on a leash and sit. His favorite toy is a stuffed mouse. His favorite treats are rawhides and he enjoys being groomed. Please stop by and visit with him. You never know when you might find a friend for life. Max available through our Adult Companion program to those who qualify

 

Kerri is a 2 year old spayed female dark Torti short haired kitty. She came to the shelter as a stray. She is very friendly and likes people. She is learning about other cats and dogs while she stay with us. She likes to tell you about her day and enjoys playing with toys. Come by and visit with her. Charlie is a 2 year old neutered male brown and black Rottweiler mix. He loves to run and play with toys he is still very much a puppy and would benefit from additional training. He needs to meet any resident dog and will do better in a home with older children. He needs a home without cats and small animals. He is learning how to walk on a leash and sit. Please stop by and visit with him. You never know when you might find a friend for life. 

 

Grayson is a 6 1/2 year old neutered male brown tiger kitty. He came to the shelter because his owner could not spend enough time with him. He likes other cats, but does not care for dogs. He likes to be picked up and knows how to use a scratching post. He is friendly and is a quiet kitty. His favorite place to be is in an empty box. He enjoys playing with toys .If you are interested in meeting him please contact the shelter as he might be at one of our off-site adoption centers. Grayson is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.

Rick is a 10 year old neutered male tri-colored Beagle. He came to the shelter with his buddy Morty. They came to the shelter because their owner could no longer care for them. They both loves to walk on a leash and enjoy being  groomed. They need to meet any resident dog and they seem to like cats. We would really likes these guys to stay together. They enjoy being groomed and like biscuits for treats. Please stop by and visit with them. You never know when you might find a couple of great friends for life. Rick and Morty are both available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.
