Here are the Humane Society of Wayne County pets of the week.
Maverick is a 4 year old neutered male black and white kitty. He is a special needs kitty. He is he was born with back legs that bend the wrong way. Don’t think that slows him down. He is very capable of getting around. We think he 
will do better in a home without stairs and must be an indoor kitty only. He has a terrific personality and loves to be held. He is very friendly and affectionate. He would loves to have a new family to love him. Maverick is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify. Please contact the shelter is you are interested in meeting Maverick. He might be at one of our off-site adoption centers.
Zeke is a 3 year old neutered male black and white Lab mix. He needs a home without cats and should meet any resident dog. He will do best in a h
ome without small children. He loves to chase tennis balls and will sit for a treats. He is learning how to walk on a leash while he stays with us. He has a sweet personality and want to have a home again. Zeke is available through our Adult Companion Program to those who qualify.
