Leslie Hoke in an Ontario County Courtroom yesterday. he is is charged with 35 counts of sex crimes in connection with criminal sex acts involving 3 boys several years ago. He turned down a plea deal in December and faces 50 years in prison if convicted at trail .

Murder charges facing a Carlton man after a body was discovered on the side of the road in Orleans County. Police say 61 year-old Fredrick Miller is under arrest for killing 53 year-old Rachel Miller. Fredrick Miller is charged with second degree murder.

A fatal hit and run last night on Rochester’s east side of the city. It Happened around 11:15 on North Goodman Street when a man was struck while pouring gas into a vehicle on the side of the road. Police continue their investigation and anyone with information is urged to call 9-1-1. The victim’s name not yet released.

A Resolution in the works by the Monroe County legislature opposing the costs associated with enforcing the new gun control act. It would be similar to the one other counties have drafted. In addition they are backing the notion that the law infringes on law abiding citizens right to bear arms.

Mike barker of Fairport has thrown his hat into the ring for the Supervisors spot in Perininton. A position held by fellow Republican Jim Smith. Smith is not running for re-election. Barker has been a public official since 1992.

A Ontario man facing unlawful possession of marijuana charges. Ontario County Sheriff’s say 19 year-old Jacob Mascari of Berg Road was traveling down the road smoking a pipe. after police pulled him over they discovered he was also in possession of an alcohol beverage. he will be in Canandaigua court to answer those charges later.

Do you exercise before bedtime? the National Sleep Foundation says a workout before laying your head down is just fine and it will help you sleep better. The poll quizzed a thousand people and It also found people who exercise in the last four hours before bedtime sleep equally as well as those who exercise much earlier before sleeping.
