The Canandaigua Rotary Club is hosting a Ziti Dinner on Wednesday from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at the Canandaigua Academy Cafeteria, 435 East Street in Canandaigua. Dine in or take out. Tickets available from any Rotarian. St Dominic Parish Center at the corner of Rte 21 and main street in Shortsville will host a Plant sale featuring flowers, vegetables and herbs on Saturday June 1st from 10 AM until 2 PM. Food Sense Program
Food Sense is a cooperative food purchase program administered by Catholic Charities of Wayne County. Volunteers from the Newark Rotary help unload the delivery truck each month and distribute the food to Food Sense customers. Individuals pre-pay for a ‘unit’ of food, $15.50 in cash or Food Stamps. There are no income eligibility requirements and a person came come ‘in’ and ‘out’ of the program at any time.
